I am a high school student in Charles City, Iowa. In our writing class, we are researching topics that we believe are large issues in the world today. I chose to research teenage car crashes. I researched the large number of accidents resulting from drinking and reckless driving.
I came up with two ideas to decrease this problem. First, I would like to see more police officers on night duty. Second, I want more ID checking at bars and stores. I have heard of places that just check customers out without asking for an ID, which I feel is a major factor in increasing car crashes among teens.
